Upcoming Professional Meetings (10/19 and 10/20)

This week ITE has two professional meetings you can attend (see below for all the details)! Not only can you earn points towards the ITE Conference in Santa Barbara (remember, the people with the most points will receive financial aid to go to the conference), but it’s a great opportunity to network with professionals and see what’s going on in the industry! Also, for those of you initiating into Chi Epsilon, these meetings count as Social Events.

ITESoCal Chapter (Meeting Flyer):

When: Wednesday, October 19th at 11:30 am
Where: Knott’s Berry Farm Resort Hotel
Who: The speaker will be Chuck O’ Connor, Southwest Regional Manager at Rhythm Engineering, will be presenting on “The Facts Are In! The Performance of Adaptive Traffic Control Systems.”
RSVP: If you are planning to attend please RSVP to Sri Chakravarthy (e-mail: sri.chakravarthy@kimley-horn.com) with your name, food choice (chicken, salmon, or vegetarian), and the school you are from as soon as possible.
Cost: Only $10 for students!

RSBITE Chapter (Meeting Flyer):

When: Thursday, October 20th at 11:30 am
Where: Rancho Cucamonga Old Spaghetti Factory
Who: The speaker will be Thomas Ainsworth, who will be presenting on the Caltrans District 08 Inland Empire Transportation Management Center (IETMC).
RSVP: If you are planning to attend please RSVP to Jonathan Hofert (e-mail: HofertJA@pbworld.com) with your name, food choice (spaghetti w/meat sauce, spinach and cheese ravioli, or baked chicken), and the school you are from no later than today. It’s free for students!
Cost: Free for students!
