Vanessa Munoz on Traffic Engineering

WilldanMs. Vanessa Muñoz PE, TE, PTOE – Willdan, Deputy Director of Engineering

Ms. Munoz graduated from Cal Poly in 1997 with a BS in Civil Engineering.  Ms. Munoz is a Deputy Director of Engineering at Willdan with 14 years of experience in transportation planning and traffic engineering.  Ms. Muñoz duties include the supervision of engineers and technicians providing traffic engineering design and construction services to cities, counties and transportation agencies throughout California.  Ms. Munoz areas of expertise include the preparation of  plans specification and estimates for street widening, street resurfacings, storm drains, traffic signals, street lighting, traffic control, signing and striping projects as well as providing municipal engineering and traffic analysis and operations services.  To date Ms. Munoz has designed over 300 traffic signals and has supervised the completion of over 1000 projects ranging from larger to smaller scale projects.  Ms. Munoz serves as the city traffic engineer for the City of Rolling Hills, prior to joining the Willdan team Ms. Munoz worked for 2 years as an assistant engineering at KOA Corporation.
