On Thursday, April 18th 2013, ITE Cal Poly Pomona held the 11th General Meeting of the year. The guest speaker was Ms. Monica Suter, from the City of Santa Ana. Ms. Suter serves as an ITE International Director for the Western District and has served as the District President in the past (full bio here).
Why aren’t younger Americans driving anymore?

Ever since the recession hit in late 2007, Americans have been driving less and less. Was that because of the horrible economy? To some extent, perhaps. But it’s striking that Americans are still cutting back on driving even though the economy is growing again.
Please join us for our Second General Meeting of the spring quarter this Thursday, April 18 during U-hour 12-1 PM, in the Transportation Lab (17-2646). We will be hosting Monica M. Suter as our guest speaker. She is pleased to return to Cal Poly Pomona to present on Transportation Careers. She is an International Director for ITE and a Past Western District President. She will also provide information about sample projects as well and some tips for interviewing and what employers look for. As usual, lunch will be provided. We look forward to having you there!
