The LA Chapter of Young Professionals in Transportation is holding its kickoff event Tuesday, February 28th! Guest speaker Alexis Lantz of the LA County Bicycle Coalition will talk about bike and pedestrian advocacy in Los Angeles, followed by an informal reception downstairs at Spring Street Bar. Young Professionals in Transportation

Young Professionals in Transportation (YPT) provides professional development, fellowship and networking opportunities for young professionals in the transportation field across the country and around the world. YPT is based in Washington, DC with chapters opening around the country.

The Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition (LACBC) is a nonprofit organization with over 1,000 members that engages cyclists through advocacy, education and outreach across the county. LACBC brings together the diverse bicycling community in a united mission to improve the bicycling environment and quality of life for the entire region.
